Keiso Shobo traces its origins to the publishing business. Our parent company is the department store Daiwa Co., Ltd. headquartered in Ishikawa Prefecture. Becoming independent in 1970 as a publishing company, Keiso Shobo celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. Since its founding, Keiso Shobo has been committed to “publishing and promoting quality” in the area of technical academic books, with confidence, and without being influenced by current trends in the pursuit of "truth and liberty”.

In 2001, to expand activities in the academic area together with key businesses, Keiso Shobo launched Communication Service Division. Based on the motto of providing sincere quality services, the Communication Service Division, consisting of a small group of employees, has been involved in the planning and operation of research groups, seminar secretariats, and conference sites, mainly in the medical and pharmaceutical areas.
